Contributed to the development of the website usability and overall customer experience online. Significantly help drive the expansion and profitable growth of global digital jewelry business.
There was a strong need to leverage the company’s website and social media platforms. Through new marketing practices and cross-functional innovation I helped improve product management and customer information digitally online. My intial review of the Dover Jewelry & Diamonds website showed me a number of problem areas where the customer and the product could have an improvement in correlation. By adding new interactive features for the user promotes newness and will stimulate the consumer to buy. I researched other competitive high-end jewelry online platforms and noted several major improvement areas to enhance the functionality of the company website’s structure.
The main goal was to better enrich the website, their social media, add new interactive features to heighten the product being showcased, and therefore attract new users and keep returning customers. This was done by keeping consistent interactions, content, features, and a clear visual tone. Studying luxury platforms such as Chanel, Cartier, Hermes, Rolex, and Tiffany’s, and how they showcase their fine line jewelry collection online. I noted much innovative and compelling graphical user interfaces. Affluent shoppers searching the luxury market are using the web as the number one source of information about luxury products. To have a strong digital presence, a jewelry brand must engage consumers through rich sensorial experience. It was my daily duty to discover achievable new interfaces that can be designed to better stimulate the consumer to buy.
